Call for Art
We are pleased to announce the launching of our Fall 2024 Call for Art as part of the Community Arts @ Health Sciences initiative! We are now accepting your art submissions for the fall exhibition.
The aim of Community Arts @ Health Sciences is to inspire and enable students, faculty, staff, and community members to engage with art and with each other, while highlighting the impactful ways that art and science inform one another.
The theme for this exhibition is related to the quote:
"To develop a complete mind: Study the science of art; Study the art of science. Learn how to see. Realize that everything connects to everything else." - Leonardo da Vinci
With this in mind, in your profession, how do you connect science and art?
We are welcoming submissions of two-dimensional art, such as paintings, photographs, and/or drawings.
Whether you are a beginner or you've shown your artwork for years, this exhibition provides an opportunity to share your talents with others and add vibrancy to our UMN health science community!
Submissions must be made by September 30 for consideration for the exhibition which will run from November 2024 - January 2025. Our exhibitions will take place in the Health Science Education Center (HSEC).
