At Community Arts @ Health Sciences, our mission is to inspire students, faculty, staff, and community members to engage with art and each other, while highlighting the powerful ways art and science inform one another.
We are excited to announce our Academic Year 2026–27 Call for Art! Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned artist, we encourage you to submit your creative work.
This year, we will host one exhibition that will be displayed for the entire school year at the Health Sciences Education Center (HSEC) and the Veterinary Medical Center North Building.
Key Exhibition Details & Criteria
- Format: 2-Dimensional visual art only (e.g., drawings, paintings, photographs).
- Display Requirements: Art must be ready to hang securely. Please review our Hanging Guidelines Guide before submitting. (Limited assistance may be available if needed).
- Exhibition Duration: Full academic year, with artwork pickup taking place in late April 2027 (exact dates communicated in Spring).
Important Timeline
- Submission Deadline: September 29, 2026 @ 3:00 PM
- Artwork Drop-Off (If Selected): October 19, 2026
- Locations: Minneapolis campus or St. Paul campus. Specific locations will be assigned via email.
