Four Seasons of Minnesota

The Four Seasons of Minnesota documents the medicinal plants that grow in the urban prairies and community gardens near the University of Minnesota over the course of one year. All the images were composed by hand by layering fragments of photographs, watercolor paintings, and plants on glass. The added collage elements reflect the energy and importance of these small urban green spaces.
